Roomy?
Choosing a studio that has the room to accommodate your band is important.  Feeling cramped may hurt performance and cause leakage into other tracks affecting the mix.

Acoustics
When it comes to recording, not everything sounds good mic'd in a marble room.  Reverberations off the walls hit the microphones with a delayed signal that may cause comb filtering or phase cancellation.
