Guitars & amps

Basses (4&5 string, 1 fretless),
amps, and Keyboards

Although
most prefer to use their own electric, acoustic, and
bass guitars
(4 string fretted, 5 string fretless),
sometimes having extras available can save the day.
Amps
Roland, Laney, Gibson stand by amps.
Since
most guitarist bring their favorite amps - having a
room full of amps just isn't necessary. But just
in case you don't bring one or you just want a
different sound we have standby by amps and a great
amp simulator:

The
POD2 does a fantastic job at reproducing very real
(and sometimes better sounding) amplifiers. It
was designed for the purpose of reproducing the "mic'd"
sounds of many popular amps. Click on the pic
for more information.
ROLAND
GP-8

Great
processor from the 80-90s. Great sounds piped
direct or into an amp
Percussion
Lots
of standard stuff (tambourines, shakers, cowbell !, etc)
plus some odd things.
ALSO:
The
DM5 along with trigger pads, drum triggers, and
trigger inputs allow for hundreds of customized
percussion sounds.
Keyboards

The
main keyboard is an 88 key "weighted"
controller. The action (feel) is exactly what
you'd expect from a typical piano. The hundreds
of sounds from grand piano to the bizarre come out of
the Alesis QSR module each customizable. Sounds
not present can be loaded into the module via sysex.

Hammond
XK2
The
sound and FEEL of the B3.
The
Drawbars, distortion, vibrato, chorus, Leslie effect
(controlled by a foot pedal), Hammond expression
pedal, and the fast response squared keys make this as
close to the B3 without the foot pedals. There
are plenty of presets for the "sound" of
Emerson, Wakeman, etc.
KORG
M-1(top)
An oldie but goodie!

1903
Haynes (New York)
A
REAL oldie!

DRUMS

While most guitarist prefer their own axe, drummers
like the sound and convenience of the house kit that
sits in the rear iso booth -
This room acts like an amplifier in that it somehow
creates a powerful sound for the drums (don't ask
why - it just does).
