Hot Tip

Pack your own lunch and leave it in the break room refrigerator. Keep in mind that unless the engineer takes a lunch break, the clock continues. Usually it is advised to take a break half way through a 10 hour session.

Type of food

High carb diets (like Chinese) taste great, but 9 out of 10 times puts people into comas. Choose your lunch wisely.

Why Motel?

If you're more than 100 miles from the studio and will be in for more than one day, it is more cost effective especially at $3 per gallon. You also won't have the aggravation driving brings (construction, other challenged drivers, etc) and will be able to start fresh after a good nights sleep (unless you stayed up for entertainment).
