RATES
Shopping for a recording studio isn't like getting the
best deal on a car or boat. Dealers sell the
same item with different options or incentives.
With recording studios, the "product" has
yet to be made and "the process" should be
more of a concern than getting the cheapest price (if
you're serious about your recording). Keep in
mind that packages (record all day for $xxx, 5 songs
for $xxxx, 1 CD for $xxxxx, etc) have a tendency to
short change someone. If it's the studio, they
may either cut you off, or throw in extra
charges. The best way we find is to charge by
the hour - something a customer can control.
Also, location, parking, entrance to
the studio, equipment, knowledge, engineer's
personality, and production assistance are examples of
considerations when looking for a good studio.
Listening to samples is important. Bring a
commercial CD to play on the studio monitors to
"align" your ears before hearing the
studio's work. With that knowledge, the final
step is finding the best price.
Once a person visits this studio, we
may discuss our per hour rate or other rates depending
on what needs to be done.

Policies
We have studio house
rules and standard operational procedures (SOP) as
outlined in our recording service agreement. It
also details what we provide and our limitations for
your protection. Recording at Pyramid is by a
day to day agreement meaning there are no strings
attached giving the customer the flexibility needed to
come and go.
